Phase 1: Plains, Punjab & Western Himachal (Days 1–10)

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Arrive in India’s bustling capital. Check into your hotel and unwind. In the evening, visit India Gate or the lively Connaught Place for a relaxed start to your journey.

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing

Explore the soul of Old Delhi — Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk’s vibrant lanes, and the Mughal masterpiece, Humayun’s Tomb. Experience a perfect blend of history and heritage.

Day 3: Delhi to Chandigarh

Take an early train or a scenic drive (approx. 4–5 hours) to Chandigarh, India’s most planned city. In the evening, stroll by Sukhna Lake and marvel at Nek Chand’s creative Rock Garden.

Day 4: Chandigarh to Amritsar

Drive to the holy city of Amritsar (approx. 5 hours). Upon arrival, visit the resplendent Golden Temple (Sri Harmandir Sahib) for an unforgettable evening darshan by the shimmering lake.

Day 5: Amritsar & Wagah Border Ceremony

Day 6: Travel to Dalhousie

Drive from Amritsar to Dalhousie (approx. 5–6 hours). As you ascend into the mountains, enjoy breathtaking valley views. Check in and relax in the cool, misty air.

Day 7: Dalhousie & Khajjiar Excursion

Day 8: Dalhousie to Dharamshala/McLeod Ganj

Phase 2: The Ladakh–Kashmir Axis (Days 11–20)

Day 11: Manali Acclimatization

Spend the day relaxing and preparing for high-altitude travel. Visit Hadimba Devi Temple and explore the cozy cafes and markets of Old Manali.

Day 12: Manali to Jispa/Keylong

Begin your journey along the Manali-Leh Highway. Drive through spectacular landscapes to reach Jispa or Keylong (approx. 5–7 hours). Rest overnight to adjust to altitude.

Day 13: Jispa to Kargil

An epic drive (approx. 10–12 hours) through some of the highest passes in the world. Witness the stark beauty of the Greater Himalayas en route to Kargil.

Day 14: Kargil Exploration

Visit the Kargil War Memorial at Drass — the second coldest inhabited place on Earth. Pay homage to the soldiers and explore Kargil town.

Day 15: Kargil to Srinagar

Drive to the Kashmir Valley (approx. 6–7 hours) and check into a traditional houseboat on Dal Lake. Watch the sunset over the mountains from your deck.

Day 16: Srinagar – Lakes & Gardens

Enjoy a peaceful morning Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Later, visit the Mughal Gardens — Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh — symbols of timeless beauty.

Day 17: Srinagar Leisure & Local Life

Shop for authentic Kashmiri handicrafts — Pashmina shawls, carpets, saffron, and dry fruits. Visit Pari Mahal or simply unwind by the lakeside.

Day 18: Srinagar to Jammu

A long but scenic drive (approx. 8–10 hours) through the Banihal Tunnel brings you to Jammu. Check in and relax after a day on the road.

Day 19: Jammu Sightseeing

Visit the grand Raghunath Temple and Bahu Fort. Discover Jammu’s unique blend of heritage and modernity before preparing for the next phase.

Day 20: Jammu to Delhi

Take a flight or fast train back to Delhi. Rest up for the upcoming leg through Himachal and Uttarakhand.

Phase 3: The Spiti & Uttarakhand Detour (Days 21–30)

Day 21: Delhi to Shimla/Rampur (Spiti Circuit Start)

Begin your second Himalayan ascent! Drive from Delhi to Shimla or further to Rampur Bushahr (approx. 8–10 hours). Overnight at a mountain stay.

Day 22: Rampur to Kaza (Spiti Valley)

A thrilling high-altitude journey through Reckong Peo and Tabo (approx. 10–12 hours). Arrive in Kaza, the heart of Spiti Valley — surrounded by barren yet majestic peaks.

Day 23: Explore Spiti’s Wonders
