Detailed Itinerary

Days 1–3: Arrival and Acclimatization in Leh

Day 1

Take an early morning flight from Delhi to Leh (3,500 m). Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and rest for the day to acclimatize to the altitude. Avoid any physical exertion.

Day 2:

Continue acclimatizing. Enjoy a light sightseeing tour of Leh — visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace, offering panoramic views of the town and surrounding peaks.

Day 3:

Take a scenic drive through Sham Valley, covering landmarks like the Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and the stunning confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers (Nimmu Sangam). Visit Alchi or Likir Monastery on your return.

Days 4–8: The Jewels of Ladakh – Nubra Valley & Pangong Lake

Day 4:

Drive from Leh to Nubra Valley via the world-famous Khardung La Pass (5,602 m). Check into your camp or guesthouse in Hunder and enjoy a Double-Humped Camel Safari across the sand dunes.

Day 5:

Explore Nubra Valley further. Visit the Diskit Monastery, home to the 106-foot tall statue of Maitreya Buddha. Optionally, drive to Turtuk Village, the northernmost village open to tourists.

Day 6:

Journey from Nubra to Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok River route. Admire the ever-changing blue hues of the lake and stay overnight at a lakeside camp or homesta

Day 7:

Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over Pangong Lake. Later, drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass (5,360 m) and rest upon arrival.

Day 8:

Explore the cultural richness of Ladakh. Visit Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery, and the ancient ruins of Shey Palace, each reflecting centuries of Buddhist heritage.

Days 9–12: High-Altitude Lakes & Leisure

Day 9:

Drive to the stunning Tso Moriri Lake, one of the largest and most beautiful high-altitude lakes in Ladakh. Spend the night in a lakeside camp or guesthouse.

Day 10:

Travel to Tso Kar Lake, known for its salt flats and wildlife. Enjoy birdwatching and photography before staying overnight near the lake.

Day 11:

Return to Leh. Check into your hotel and spend the evening relaxing or shopping for handicrafts and souvenirs in the local markets.

Day 12:

Enjoy a leisure day in Leh. Visit any missed sites, such as Stok Palace, or simply unwind at a local café overlooking the mountains.

Days 13–15: Delhi Sightseeing & Departure

Day 13:

Take a morning flight back to Delhi. Check into your hotel and visit India Gate and Connaught Place for an evening stroll and dinner.

Day 14:

Spend the day exploring Old and New Delhi. Visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Humayun’s Tomb, and the Lotus Temple, each showcasing a unique chapter of India’s history and architecture.

Day 15:

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey, concluding your unforgettable 15-day adventure through Delhi and Ladakh.
