Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi – The Capital Experience

Arrive in Delhi, the vibrant capital of India, rich in history and modern culture. After check-in, spend the afternoon exploring iconic landmarks such as the Red Fort, Qutub Minar, or Humayun’s Tomb. In the evening, take a leisurely walk around India Gate and enjoy the illuminated city atmosphere. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi to Chandigarh (Approx. 4–5 Hours)

After breakfast, drive or board an early train to Chandigarh, India’s first planned city designed by Le Corbusier. Upon arrival and check-in, visit the world-famous Rock Garden, a stunning example of creativity made from recycled materials. Later, unwind with a boat ride or sunset walk along Sukhna Lake. Overnight stay in Chandigarh.

Day 3: Chandigarh to Shimla (Approx. 4–5 Hours)

Enjoy a scenic drive through the lower Himalayas to Shimla, the former summer capital of British India. After check-in, explore The Mall Road and The Ridge, lined with charming colonial-era architecture, lively shops, and cozy cafes. Overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 4: Shimla – Kufri Excursion & Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, head to Kufri, a popular hill spot known for its panoramic views and winter sports. Visit Jakhoo Temple, perched atop Shimla’s highest hill, dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Spend the evening exploring Christ Church and the local markets. Overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 5: Shimla to Dharamshala / McLeod Ganj (Approx. 7–8 Hours)

Drive through beautiful mountain roads to Dharamshala, home to the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan Government-in-Exile. Arrive in the serene town of McLeod Ganj, surrounded by pine forests and Buddhist monasteries. Check in and relax amidst the tranquil setting. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.

Day 6: Dharamshala – Monasteries & Waterfalls

Explore the spiritual essence of Dharamshala. Visit the Tsuglagkhang Complex (Dalai Lama Temple), Namgyal Monastery, and the Bhagsunag Waterfall. Stroll through the vibrant Tibetan Market for handicrafts and souvenirs. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.

Day 7: Dharamshala to Manali (Approx. 6–7 Hours)

After breakfast, drive to Manali, the most popular hill resort in Himachal Pradesh. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the evening exploring Mall Road, known for its lively shops, cafes, and mountain views. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 8: Manali – Adventure & Excursions

After breakfast, proceed for an adventure-filled day in Solang Valley, famous for paragliding, zorbing, and skiing (in winter). Depending on the season, take an excursion to Rohtang Pass or drive through the Atal Tunnel to experience the stunning landscapes of Lahaul Valley. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 9: Manali – Temples & Hot Springs

Explore the local beauty of Manali. Visit the ancient Hadimba Devi Temple, a masterpiece of wooden architecture surrounded by cedar forests. Then, head to Vashisht Village to relax in its natural hot water springs. In the evening, explore the charming cafes and handicraft shops of Old Manali. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 10: Departure – Back to Delhi

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Delhi. You can opt for an overnight Volvo bus from Manali or take a connecting flight from Kullu Airport.
